I have been watching the whole thing like a marathon… over and over again: I cry, laugh and hold my breath along with Jiaxu. The music, the scenes, how he always carry her bag and the flying kiss melts my heart everytime …the whole story is breathtaking. Although he is the perfect character I can’t imagen anyone else play this role as perfect as Chen Zheyuan, he had top his acting performance above any other Asian actor I have seen. I have been Kdrama fan for years but Zheyuan have made me tuned into Chinese dramas now and I have exhausted all of his pages online already. Sorry I just can’t help it :-( and I love everything about him! I think this drama will go on forever and ever in TV history. They make such of great couple in screen that it will be nice to see them grow together in a personal relationship as well. They are THE MOST cute couple in my book!

The bestest drama i saw in 2023 and also the best in Chinese dramas! Omg the story has u melting till your toes from the first episode till the 25th episode! Usually, i skip episodes in Chinese dramas because of the length n duration. After Meteor Garden, this is the next best!

The cast has its own charm...leads have crackling bonding and chemistry! Kudos to the makers for making it so beautifully! Hidden Love will take u down nostalgia lanes of your own campus lives! 

Please do watch it...i binge watched it and then re-watched it again!

Warning - You will be in pain.. cause you can never rewatch it the first time..no matter how many times you watch it..it will never be enough. 

The heart melting eye contact between the two leads, the nods and ‘hmm’ from Duan Jiaxu is something you will never get over. Everything that they do for each other - every single box of language of love is checked. Ugh

You will realize men like that don’t exist in real world..but can’t help but wanting one!

Ps. This is my first Chinese drama. And I am so glad I entered my cdrama era with this one. It’s like first love that will always remain special 😅❤️

I would recommed this as a must watch. It potrays the main characters Sang Zizi & Duan Jiaxu very well.

If you want to describe what I felt as I watched hidden Love then it would be 'Pure and Sincere love'. The story shows the growth of the characters from meeting as a 14 year old little girl and a 19 year old boy in youth to their journey from being a brother/sister to friend to lover, it portrays the main character duan jaixu and sang zizi's emotions , their struggle and the flow of the story showing the growth of the characters as they age. 

I loved how the lead actors Zhou Lusi and Chen Zheyuan played out the role of the main characters, no one would have suited the drama better. If possible I would love to watch this pair working together again as a lead in another c drama.

Finally a heads-up if this drama is on your watchlist - the drama might make you want you to fall in love, if you are a girl you might wish you were sang zizi and if you are a boy you might wish you were duan jaixu.. I can rewatch it and not get tired. 

Story 10/10, Acting 10/10 , Drama OST 10/10 Hidden love is a 10 for me.. mainly because of the storyline and pure and sincere love shown which is very rarely seen. The actors efforts can be seen by how both the main roles of duan jaixu and sang zizi seems real to the audience. This drama is a big big YES!

What a surprise that with several top production house Korean romcoms streaming now, this Chinese drama is the winner! I've become a big fan of Zhao Lusi's work. Despite being in her early 20s she has shown remarkable maturity in picking dramas well, is the best Chinese actress around, and generates really good chemistry with her co-stars. The series is just the right length, with no strange plot twists or melodramatic situations and no meanderings. The family dynamics in the the FL's family are very real and the relationship between the parents, brother and sister are very believable and sensitively portrayed. The cast overall is very good. I love the brother-sister relationship here as well. The series portrays really sweetly and touchingly, first, a teenager's crush and then growing love of a young adult, from one-sided and then reciprocal. The changing feelings on both sides and the bursting of first love are shown beautifully and both leads do a wonderful job of it. Chen Zheyuan is gorgeous and in character, and his chemistry with Lusi is off the charts. I rewatched several episodes already! 🤩☺️

If you don't know if you should watch this drama, well you are reading the right post. I prefer Kdramas over Cdramas. And well I normally lose interest in Cdramas after watching a few episodes. But to me this drama is worth it. Also, I don't really like dramas where a ypung girl has a crush on the older guy and he does not know about it. They normally have so many sad scenes and well, I prefer strong female leads. This is just my opinion so please don't bash me up. Also, I don't like younger girl and older guy as it is quite weird. But somehow, I felt okay watching this drama. Heck, I wanted to watch more of it. I started watching this drama because of Zhao Lusi. She is one of my favourite actresses. Also, the male lead is handsome too. And I kind of liked his acting. But I was skeptical at first. I have not finished watching it but I did watch some of it and OH MY GAWDDD!!!!!!!! This drama is daebakkkk!!!!!!! The storyline was simple and good. Giving it quite a lot of detail. Yes, certain parts of the drama could have been slightly better, but this drama was already very fantastic. The emotions and chemistry between Sang Zhi, Sang Yan and Duan Jiaxu are unreal. The actors have good chemistry both on screen and off screen. The story is simple yet touching. Giving it a nice and easy flow. It is peaceful too watch not too heavy either but something that makes you think about it. I'd say this is one of the best dramas I have ever watched. (*Still watching) Gi ahead and watch it too. You won't be dissapointed🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️
