Yea, craiglist is good. And not sure which school are you in, upper east side??? You can try to ask if there is any organization you can ask for such help at school. The price on upper west is relatively cheaper, especially if you go way up more north.

Queens is not bad, the price is much lower and close to flushing (a Chinatown:), just the commute is annoying.
