i called Tmobile on saturday. i was on hold for almost 30 minutes. i
called during weekend nights before. much shorter wait time.



my contract with tmobile expired this month. i'm thinking about
switching to other carriers. tmobile has really bad coverage in my
area. i called to ask them if i can cancel my service anytime now and
how i will be charged. here is their answer.



basically, you can cancel any time after your contract expires. the
charge will be prorated based on the number of days you used your
phone. if you cancel your service on the 10th day of your billing
cycle, they will charge you one third of your monthly fee.



they offered me a free month and a free phone. i was determined to switch, so i didnt negotiate with them at all.

我也问一下，如果一年合同到期，没有延期，是自动续一年合同还是用一个月交一个月，随时可以停的？？是cingular的

after you contract expires, you should be on a month to month basis. i'm not sure about cingular. should be similar though.



why do you want to switch out of cingular?

I disconnected my verizon cell phone in early July. Since we already purchased the T-mobile plan, I did not try to talk too much out of it. The phone was disconnected the midnight of that specific date. and I already got the refund. ( for Verizon, the fees are charged the first week of every billing cycle).
