I do not quite understand your last point. Is it: ' he wants to interview my chinese boyfriend, if I have any now, and make sure he has good purpose and will not hurt me?'

I do not see anything wierd. It is very clear that guy has a special feeling for you, either as a younger sister or potential girlfriend. The point is: do you have a feeling for him? If not, he has no way to hurt you; if yes, try to find out his feeling. First make sure he is not gay though. ;-)

原来你只是想确定他是否喜欢你，其实，从他的行为来看，你在他心里的位置肯定很special，但是，这还不能说是爱，因为他并没有明确表达。
无论你喜不喜欢他，你都可以告诉他，把他看成你的chinese brother，象亲人一样，呵呵，多一个亲人谁不愿意啊！如果不喜欢，那就永远是brother，如果喜欢，嘿嘿，也很容易递进。
