[求助]问个amazon上买cellphone拿rebate的问题

我们已经有个cingular $39.99的账户，想再在amazon上买个cellphone with $39.99 rate plan,activate之后，和原来的账户合并为family plan,这样的话，那$150得rebate还能收到吗？打了电话问cingular,他们不知道，要我问amazon,amazon的电话找不到，留了email地址和问题，还没回音。我昨晚仔细研究了一下rebate的要求，是这么说的：
2. Activate your new service (note: this rebate does not apply to phone purchases for use on an existing account and phone number. If you already have an existing account and wish to obtain a second line of service [for a family member, employee, etc.], you will qualify if you purchase and activate the phone with a new service plan. Rebates will not be honored for customers adding a line of service who then cancel an existing line).
我的理解是新加一条line,是可以收到rebate得。请问大家有过这样的经验吗？请指点。
第二个弄成family plan拿rebate 好象是行不通的。。
不知道singular如何。我们问了Tmobile不可以。
后来就买了手机和新的individual plan. 到相关网页后，输入order #后，有 available rebate.填了就可以。
而且family plan只是一个area.所以两地分居的想用family plan还不行。
其实没有漫游费，一个area code也行。就是比如别人打给你，公司打给你，都是长途，可能就不方便。。
所以我们是两个individual plan.
