对于我来说，把学语言当学文化才比较有意思，不然成了背单词学语法的boring事情。
这首歌是1727年由德裔英国作曲家Handel写成，从那起每届英国国王登基大典时都唱。
这个video除了歌曲外还罗列了所有的英国国王从最早的King William I (1066-87) 到今天的伊丽莎白女王(Queen Elizabeth II 1952-present)。

Beginning lyrics of the song has biblical references, common for art work then. From 1 Kings 1:39 (the King James Version):
"And Zadok the priest took an horn of oil out of the tabernacle, and anointed Solomon. And they blew the trumpet; and all the people said, God save king Solomon."
Prophet Nathan is also a biblical figure. In 1 Kings 1:8-45 it is Nathan who tells the dying David of the plot of Adonijah to become king, resulting in Solomon being proclaimed king instead.
