We bought the northwest airline ticket back to CHINA in this summer at the begin of April through a travel agent. Now we need to change the return schedule since personal issue. Yesterday we called the northwest, they said we need contact the travel agent since we do not departure from US yet. This makes sense. Then we called the travel agent. Unfortunately they told us we only can change the return time after we departure from US throught northwest. Otherwise we have to pay a quite amount of penatly, around $500 for one ticket.

We think it is unreasonable. Does anyone has same experience and how do you figure it out. Thank you very much.
