Also, the starting salary is also very important. It cannot be too low,or it will hurt your future job hunting. It is not very possible the your company will give you a major pay raise. Well, I know some may do, but most of them don't. Your starting salary will determine your future salary. And some people would view your qualification part of from your salary.

Agree with lzmm. I am in a big company right now. It is my 1st job. Work is very easy and life relaxed.  But I am thinking to change to a smaller company to learn some high level techniques.  Since any project with high level analysis was sent out to conculting company. So, the size of a company is not so important to me for the 1st job.  The most important is what you can learn from there and get experience.
