我学的是communications, 尽管到美国之后进了一个很好的学校，还是在相当长的一段时间内非常困惑。好像不管如何地努力，身边的朋友们最终还是进了诸如世界日报或者是中文电台之类的media targeted to the niche markets. 看着身边的朋友们有一技之长 （statistics, electronic engineering, accounting）一个个慢慢地找到了很好的工作，自己的专业却鲜有同学们找到诚心满意的工作，有时候难免灰心沮丧。
想来自己在国内也是有过很好媒体的工作经验，在美国的这几年真的是Study extremely hard的，收获是越来越明确自己要做的是branding, marketing或者是consulting之类的工作。 偶是master, 没有PHD的学历，没有中国人的优势（science,technology, or accounting major), 所有的人都告诉我在marketing或者是consulting sectors，除非超牛学校的PhD, MBA, 一般的master in Communications几乎是不可能，尤其在我没有很强的工作背景的情况下。不过，我还是daydreaming of the jobs in marketing consulting, like consulting jobs in the big 4(I personally like Deloitte a lot), 但是我知道他们经常招收的是MBA. 还有就是McKinsey之类的specialized consulting firms, 虽然很难，对于文科生来说尤其是难上加难，而且我只有之前做媒体的经验，但是毕竟在美国大公司的marketing internships有过一些。我决定，努力着，而且希望同在communications, consulting, marketing 行业里的姐妹们能多给些建议。

毕竟在美国大公司的marketing internships有过一些? In China or the States? Could you please share with us more about this? I actally have the same background and interest as you. I think for us who like to do marketing strategies/ consulting instead of marketing analysis, to stay in US. is kind of hard to get a job like that. But ifyou'd like to do marketing analysis, the opportunities are good though not as good as statistic or applied math majors

MM不一定要非Deloitte不嫁吧，有时也可以曲线救国，先到其他公司or MBA，有工作经验会容易很多。
