八、为中国公民在美国所生儿童颁发旅行证
（一）适用情形
根据《中华人民共和国国籍法》，父母双方或一方为中国公民，本人出生在外国，具有中国国籍，前往中国时应申办中国旅行证件。父母双方或一方为中国公民并定居在外国，本人出生时即具有外国国籍的，不具有中国国籍，前往中国时应申办中国签证。
（二）所需材料
1、如实、完整填写《中华人民共和国护照/旅行证/回国证明申请表》1份（可由儿童父母代为填写并签名）；
2、近期（半年内）正面免冠彩色半身证件照片（光面相纸）4张。照片尺寸为48mmx33mm，头部宽为21mm-24mm，头部长度为28mm-33mm，背景为白色或淡蓝色；
3、儿童出生证原件及复印件；
4、父母双方有效护照或其它可证明国籍身份的材料原件及复印件（包括带照片资料页、曾办理过加注或延期页、来美签证相关页、最后一次离开中国的出境验讫章及入境美国的入境验讫章页。如父母一方不在美国境内，须提交其有效护照或户口本、居民身份证等复印件及所在国家居留证件复印件。）
5、父母结婚证原件及复印件（如有）；
6、父母双方在美或其他国家居留证件原件和复印件（如有）；
7、领事官员根据个案要求申请人提供的其他材料。
（三）申请方式
儿童父母双方或一方须携儿童，根据在美居住地，按中国驻美使领馆领区划分，亲自到使领馆办理。如父母一方不能前来，须提供由其签署并经当地公证机构（如在中国境内，须经中国公证机构）公证的同意由配偶为该儿童办理旅行证赴华的书面声明。
（四）办证时间
正常需4个工作日，可提供加急（2-3个工作日）或特急（1个工作日）服务。
（五）取证及收费
1、请按取证单上标注的取证日期，由儿童父母本人或委托他人凭取证单原件交费并取证。
2、正常办理旅行证收费25美元，加急办理收费45美元，特急办理收费55美元。仅接受现金支票（Money Order，Cashier's Check)、公司支票、信用卡（Mastercard，Visa Card），不接受现金和个人支票。支票抬头请写：Chinese Consulate General。
3、旅行证办妥一年后未取证者，证件将被作废销毁，并将可能影响申请人下次证件申请。

When You Arrive for Your Appointment
- Arrive on time
- You will not be admitted more than 15 minutes before the scheduled appointment time
- You will not be admitted more than 15 minutes after the scheduled appointment time
- You will be required to pass through building security screening and metal detectors
- Weapons are prohibited. See Title 18, United States Code, Section 930 .
- Check-In at Information Desk
- You must present your Social Security Number or Appointment Confirmation Number to verify your appointment
- You must present proof of international travel within 2 weeks of the appointment or proof of emergency abroad
- Receive your queue number. You will be directed to the interview room on the 10th floor.
- The public waiting area is limited to applicants, required witnesses, and those accompanying minors, disabled applicants, or serving as interpreters
