Carson: I recently spent a day with law enforcement on the border in Arizona. What I saw was shocking. On the day I was there, I saw two arrests. One was a car full of men crossing the border with what turned out to be $300,000 worth of drugs hidden in the car. That happens regularly. For decades, drugs have been smuggled into the country and Washington either can’t or simply isn’t trying to stop it. The other arrest was the shocking part. I saw an arrest of four men in a car. Three men were from Iran, Russia, and Sudan, and the driver was from Mexico. Our border is so poorly protected that people from around the world are driving right through it. Our border is far more than an immigration problem. Our border is a national security nightmare.

不是这么算的吧，他已经是最高支持率的了，其他人下去以后票数会集中起来。换小布什那是92%不会选他，更没戏。而且他偏liberal 不见得不能吸引中间偏左的票数。
