UA mileage question

Is any one use the mileage mile book a ticket for other person, not the account holder?
By the way, will the flight/cabin be changed later if the ticket is purchased by miles? This happened to me once, UA changed my flight just a week before the departure time. I am wondering if this is often.

可以给别人定，我老公出差攒的点数比我多，就用他的点数给我们俩人同时定过。我没碰到过改票的，我都是定的直飞，没有saver定过贵（点数高）的

订过多次，都是按正常票飞的。给其他人订也是一样的。

I am a little worried that UA will change the direct flight with flight with stops. It seems if they could sell the cabin later, they will move the one purchased with mile.

我也有同样的疑问，现在chase sapphire卡转UA的里程只能转到card holder的account，这样在ua account能用里程能给父母买机票吗？
