我也想过这个问题。

我之前的想法是，除了我不应该来judge他们，觉得一些人看上去很身强力壮，可以自食其力之外（可是他们就算没有physical probelm 身体不残疾，spiritual problem that immobilizes peoiple 也足矣让他们不能正常生活的），我还觉得钱和食物很少，帮不了他们什么，送人与鱼不如送人于渔。

于是我之前的做法只是为他们祈祷， pray for them to receive help from God，and to know that help is from God. 但是看到 James 2:14-17 之后，我开始觉得physical bread 和spiritual bread一样重要。

James 2:14-17 （ESV）：What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. 同样的，不然为什么会有五饼二鱼和之后再重复了一次的饼和鱼的神迹？还有1 Timonthy 6:6-8 (ESV): But godliness with contentment is great gain, for we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world. But if we have food and clothings, with these we will be content. 所以确实，食物（和衣服）对他们来说很重要。给Food Banks 捐款，并不如立马给没有食物的饥饿的人食物来得有效。

我现在的做法是争取身上有钱可以很快的拿出来，车上有一袋装好的食物和水可以很快的递出去。给他们钱或者食物的时候，会看着他们的眼睛，跟他们说God loves you, Jesus loves you, 然后我自己继续开车的时候会在车上为他们祈祷for them to know God through Jesus, and to receive help from God, and to live a life to glorify God. 我觉得食物和钱可以解一顿饭之急，但是prayer to God for those who can't pray for themselves would help more!

但是我不是每次都会给钱或食物，有的时候是没看到，或者犹豫一下就绿灯了。但是，之后基本上都会为他们祈祷。有一次给一个反复碰见的女人，留给她的钱很整很大，我的祈祷词额外加了当她用这个钱的时候，请她遇到godly people不诬陷她（偷钱），没有恶人觊觎她的钱，and she would use the money in a way that's pleasing to God.

我是必给的。我曾经让流浪汉进我的车里带去汉堡店，之后确实觉得有危险性。所以就给几块钱零钱。不要去想太多。没有耶稣基督的怜悯，我们自己也是一无是处。想想好撒马利亚人的故事. Go, and act similarly.

是的！我现在也一定给了，车上/钱包里会预备食物和/或钱，只要还有，就每个人都给，给他们时如果能想起来，就会把墨镜摘下来（这样他们看到我的眼睛，可能对食物的安全顾虑会减少），然后跟他们说Jesus LOVES YOU，然后在车里为他们祈祷，因为怕晚上忘了。他们基本上每个人都会说God Bless you, 可是没有人说基督耶稣，所以我以前说God Loves you, 现在改为mention Jesus''s love to them 了, cause Jesus is the only way to God.

我的心的转变发生在教我孩子圣经的时候， Matthew 5:42 ESV： “Give to the one who begs from you, and do not refuse the one who would borrow from you." 以前当然也读到过这里，可是那天就像一个长久的疑问得到回复，尘埃落定一样，上帝对我疑问给予了回答。心里不再有犹豫了，非常的踏实，充实，眼泪流出来的灵的感动。真的是 “Ask, you shall receive; Seek, you shall find; Knock, it shall be opened unto you." 上帝会回答你的问题的，如果在灵里面，问了合上帝意的问题的话。

其实同一个问题在经文里不同的地方都有回复。比如Matthew 之后 5:43-48， “Love your enemies...", "God makes the sun rise on the evil and on the good and sends rain on the just and unjust"... "for if you love those who love you, what reward do you have?" ..."You therefore must be perfect, as your Heavenly Father is perfect."

我是纯粹的圣经爱好者，经过了这里。

既问大家的分享，我便大胆阐述一下愚见：

既求到我门前，我为何不给呢？既向我而借，为何我要找托辞呢？

以利亚比那乞讨的流浪汉如何呢？

只是他那时没去以色列人那里，而是讨到寡妇那里。

耶稣比那讨饭的又如何呢？

只是税吏和娼妓倒给他吃，给他喝，那穿紫色袍子的以色列的财主，却将他钉上了十字架。

既有余，不当先给耶稣，不当先借给耶稣吗？

耶稣的事工，那里正发生着战争，需要多少的粮饷啊！

那些奉主名出外的，对外邦人一无所求，然而他们也有所求，也有所借，因为他们在肉身活着，需要奉养肉身。

他们既时时祈求，时时借贷，不向 耶稣，会向谁呢？这样我岂能不时常预备着，等着他们来呢?

我既将多出来的，预留出来给耶稣，岂有多余的给别人呢？

若将自己的那份给了别人，自己岂不成了乞讨的？

然不成，我把自己的给别人，再把预留给 耶稣的，求回来，借回来？

我不反对给别人，我也不支持给别人；我不反对不给别人，也不支持不给别人。

若论忠心，我要对耶稣有忠心。
