Credo （我信）是拉丁语Credo in unum Deum（我信唯一上帝）的简称，英语也叫credo 或称Nic[url=https://rd2.huaren.us/huaren.php?hrtopic_id=2544386&hrurl=http://www.elizabetharden.com]ea[/url] Creed（尼西亚信经），阐述了公元325年尼西亚会议首次统一了的基督教的三位一体等基本教义。

Credo被基督教（约24亿人，占世界人口1/3）三大教派都接受。天主教（12亿人）和东正教（3亿）的礼拜上一定不能省略Credo 。新教方面（又分很多教派，总人口8-9亿），老牌教会（mainline Protestant如Methodist、Lutheran、Episcopalian）的礼拜上等也一定唱诵。所以我估计credo 应是世界上念的最多的也是最有名的祷文，道出了基督教的基本信仰。
