楼上有人已经说了，提高对环境的判断能力很重要，简单地说就是不要存着侥幸心理去危险的地方。例如，晚上单独去人迹罕至的地方（停车场的某个角落），参加人员高度密集的活动，这都是危险的。

电击棒、电击枪这种东西，如果不用在要害部位，对于强壮的人效果不大。警用的电击枪很多时候都治不住坏人呢，就不用说民用的了。

家里有两个男娃，如果买枪的话，一定要买保险箱或者枪柜，仅仅是枪弹分离是不够的；藏在某个地方以为孩子就找不到了，也是不现实的。安全保存枪支，除了避免可能的事故，也是为了防止枪支被盗，还可以避免家人用枪自杀。

这个有点搞笑……

一个女孩子不要去没人的地方基本上就没啥事了。发生事情路人不会不管的。

在家里装个安全系统，家四周广告牌插着，贴纸贴着，保证没人敢进来。万一土匪眼盲进来，警报一响，小偷就吓跑了。或者等几分钟警察就来了。

现在晚上睡觉如果没有安全系统，我都没法想象怎样可以睡着。4周都是玻璃窗门，进来太容易了。晚上睡觉我睡的和死猪差不多。坏人到我床边我都不会知道。

之前跟一个国内朋友聊天，问我在美国为什么要有枪，我说很简单：

1）最佳方案是所有人都没有枪。所有人用嘴和选票说话。

2）其次是只有国家强力机构有枪。老百姓用选票收拾政府。

3）所有人都有枪，动态平衡。

4）最次的是别人有枪，我没有枪。最后真遇到了什么事情，比如我是那个纽约市中心的卖酒的华人老板，没枪？当待宰的羔羊吗？？？你想当，我不反对。你劝别人当羔羊，我也会劝说大家自强。

既然现在在这个国家，1）2）客观做不到，那就选择3）吧，否则老中都选择4），难怪有人会编歌劝人抢华人。就算我是只兔子，也希望关键时刻有蹬鹰的能力。

BTW，从家里安全角度，还有很多可以做的，枪是最后防线，但不是第一防线。

经常看报道会发现一个有趣现象，就是这个人群的犯罪方式，会自动适应他们的枪法，比如天使兄弟们在街头互相干起来很多是跑上去把枪顶在人身上打的，非常有效也不用练枪。一旦拉开距离，会打枪的和不会打枪的那就是比较大的差距了

女性最佳防卫技能是短跑，跑得越快越好。

我觉得不管练什么，如果真想有用的， 得每天练，随便挑一个大家推荐的， 但每天都得练，就算是pepper spray, 也得找堵墙每天对着喷一下。

不见得，同一本书里的例子：
