Orville was so representative of USA - self-righteous, ego-centric, aggressive, and condescending. This was not a discussion, but a grilling session targeting Prof Mahbubani. I am pleased to see that the Professor did splendidly!

Orville is exactly the embodiment of that little part of American that cannot accept to see the rise of another great power in the world which Prof Kishore talked about. He is like a man who sees ghost in every direction he turns.

Why doesn't Shnell talk about Okinawa, Chagos, Gracia Diego, Hawaii? Why the US comes all the way to South East Asia to tell Asean what they should or should not do? China is the largest exporter to the world. So isn't it China's interest to safeguard the waters in the South China Sea. Why has the Us poking its nose into the affairs of countries in the Far East?
