strongly recommend AIR B & B while travelling in China. the places are stylish, comfortable and affordable. the one i chose in BEIJING near subway near SI HUAN, is around $60-80 per day. a 3 start hotel next to it, is $120 per day(always book the hotel via CTRIP or ELONG or QUNAR, they provide better discount)
