why don't you just claim to the insurance company?

Once a girl hit my back right, she first gives me her insurance card then , because I need some info of her to claim it ,she backed up and she won't tell me, then she want my insurance card, well, I say, I didn't hit you, why I need to give to you,(actually at that time I don't bring it),anyway, when I drive him and got my card and drive there, she called the police, the police just took the picture and fill in the report and said they can't do anything and we can report each to the accident department.
and the poclice got my insurance card and he said I should give this info.
Anyway, since I bring the card the second time there, at least I didn't get a ticket,:P
but at least I told her how wrong she is.

Then I went to the insurance place and claim it.
They gave me $800-900 for the hit.
and my insurance didn't increase that year.
I don't know if she claim to my insurance or not,anyway, i don't care.

what I think is when she told her friends and somewhat they may think since I am a foreigner and I may not have insurance or something or what.

I was having appointment with a Tax accountant and I was there but don't know where exactly it is so I stopped before a Pier1 and ask for it and I was leaving and the girl worked at that shop and she backed her car and hit right into my car ,right back part.
and make a dump there.
because I was in a hurry so I got her insurance number then I left.
