You need have at least 5,000 miles in your frequent flyer miles account to do this. You can try to get a credit card which offers NWA frequent flyer miles with purchase, but you have to buy the ticket before October 15, 2005.

You can try to find a credit card which would give you Northwest Airline frequent flyer miles when you sign up, and use the miles to buy the ticket.
You have to buy the ticket by 10/15.
I had problems on the website, so I called their customer service instead, its $5 more.
