Wang is a royalty rank and a surname in China and Korea. Wang is also a slang term for the penis. The actual meaning of wang when used in conversation is largely contextual, for example. "I have a large wang" refers to a penis. The State of Florida is unofficially known as America's Wang, due to it being a peninsula.

wow, Wang has this meaning.

But I don't think one has much choice here. If one's surname is Wang, and is from northern china, maybe he'd rather use Wang instead of Wong.
