Based on my own experience, i consider pursuing a Master's degree in Accounting has been one of my best investment, next to the lasik eye surgery, .. As I have no accounting background in my undergraduate study, I finished my 2 years' graduate accounting program in May 2005. U may forget about scholarship in Master's program in accounting, as far as i know, there's no financial aid for this, but u can apply for GA/TA in school after u got urself enrolled in the program. at least that was what i did in my school. the the tuition for the two years totaled to be $30,000, but right upon graduation i landed my job pretty easily in one of the top 15 public accounting firms in my city and all my education investment got rewarded back in less than a year.... so that's why i think choosing accounting has been one of the best choice i ever made. hope it helps...
