For reading, I am also in the process of finding a good resource. What I found is
- The Reading for Gifted students serial are a bit easy for above average kids.
- Just reading books on its own is not sufficient.

For math, we use Beast over Singapore Math because it fits my child's learning style:
- it is not too repetitive, not a lot of drill.
- the starred questions provides a bit of challenges kids need.
- the various style of questions and the guide book make learning fun.

没用过dreambox，所以没法比较。

beast适用于数学感觉比较好，不喜欢drill的孩子。家里没提前教，学校里学到哪，beast就做到哪。孩子自己看，自己学，家长点拨一下就好了。这样大家都轻松。孩子一天花10-15分钟，就结束了。

我用过beestar和新数。beestar每次题目涵盖了整个年级，缺乏对一个概念的深入。不适合我们这种不提前教的家庭。新数和beast类似，孩子对beast特别喜欢，所以就选了它。
另外我孩子对kumon深恶痛绝，坚决抵制。但我知道有些孩子会喜欢。所以得找到合适的。
