代4.22示威执行委员会上贴，几条紧急通知

自从我们的活动的通知发出后，得到来自各个方面的反应，有人支持，有人反对。 特做如
下说明：

1）  我们的示威是完全自发的，没有任何政治背景在里面。我们的申请是早在国内的游行
开始前的4月1日递交的

2）  纽约市政府用了半个多月才批准我们的示威。而申请当天上午的另外一个反对中国政
府的同一地点的示威只是用了一个周就批准了（取批准书时候我们看到的，因为放在一起）

3）  鉴于情况的复杂性和当天在示威场地人员的多样性，我们需要组织20－30人的秩序维
持队伍（纠察队）， 具体工作由哥伦比亚大学同学会负责，欢迎所有的人加入到纠察队里

4）  继续征集示威口号，标语， 主要市英文的。 请把你的好的想法贴出来，你的口号将
会出现在示威人群中,

Dear fellow ACSSNY members
and supporters:

U.N. Security Council is not
a rich countries’ club; a country like Japan who falsifies the history and
denies the committed crime is not qualified to be one member of U.N. Security
Council. To suppress the Japan’s unreasonable attempt, and to mobilize public
supports and international attentions, we are planning the following
demonstration the coming Friday in front of the U.N.

Event: Anti-Japan
Demonstration—call for veto Japan’s attempt to join U.N. Security Council

Time: 1:00pm~2:30pm

Date: Friday, April 22th

Location: Hammarskjold Plaza (Corner of 1st Avenue and 47th street)

Content of Activities:

Let the world
hear our voice to veto Japan’s attempt to become U.N. Security Council.

The purpose of the
demonstration is to express our feelings in a rational way and gain
international supports to veto Japan’s attempt. Therefore, it is essential to
ensure the peaceful progression of the demonstration. Please keep the following
points in mind:

• follow the orders from NYPD and U.N. martial.
  



• Coordinate closely with the ACSSNY committee
  members in the activities.
  



• Radical behaviors such as vandalism and attack to
  Japanese property are NOT encouraged.
  



• Avoid bringing any weapon or hard objects like
  glass bottle with you to prevent misunderstanding.
  



• Products made in Japan are not encouraged to
  appear in this kind of scenario.
  



• Keep your eyes open for any possible troublemaker
  who wants to paralyze our peaceful and legitimate effort.
  



• Drink enough but not too much water, it will be
  difficult to find a restroom large enough for hundreds of people.
  



• Last, apply sunscreen to protect you from the UV
  lights during the demonstration. We wish you to have a nice and memorable
  afternoon.
