I would suggest you do both upper and lower endoscopy which includes stomach and colon scope. This way you only go through it once. If they do colonoscopy and can't find anything then you will have to do it again with sedation. Tell your doctor your stomach bothers you they should check it out.

There are two kinds of endoscopy. Upper is for stomach, lower is for colon. Technically they are two separate procedures. Often time GI doctor does them together. Make sure you find a GI doctor to perform the procedure. They are the ones do this procedure all the time.
