China is really rising in swimming events. My (Chinese American) friend's twin kids goes to swimming train here, during summer break they had a trip back to China and he signed them up for some professional swimming lessons in China, just for a little over a month, and they both came back champions, both are 8 years old but competing with 12 and under, in 4x50 mix, they beat second place by half a swimming pool, only because they have better backstroke and freestyle. They are going back next summer again to work on breast stroke and butterfly. I was asking what gave them the sudden boost and learned this.
