彩色玻璃瓷砖mosaic

一直想做个tile mosaic，可一想到得和水泥打交道就打退堂鼓。搬家一年多了，后院虽说种了各样植物，老是觉得缺点颜色。便下了决心开工了。
开始的DESIGN本来想用多年来我俩在各地海滩拾的贝壳来拼图案，可考虑成果要挂在外面，怕贝壳易碎，还有怕贝壳的背面不平，胶粘不住。逛MICHAELS时看见蓝绿玻璃块，特喜欢，刚好配游泳池的瓷砖。买回家随意摆了个树形，LG说好，就敲定是它了。

材料包括在Michael's 买的 2 bags of iridescent colored glass gems, one large and one small，和 1 bag of small square tiles。在Home Depot 买的基本白色和tan色的瓷砖，还有小盒tile adhesive 和 sand grout. 底层是块木板，大小随意。
用锤子隔毛巾把瓷砖敲碎--(如果那天心情不好，这步很解气啊!)。

提前把各形状大小块搭配好，用传粘瓷砖的adhesive 固定。

隔夜让胶干透，开始抹sand grout。

等grout干后，LG用了一条crown molding拼成木框，加钉，把它挂在后院墙上了!
MM们能看出中间那块透明玻璃里有我们的照片吗?

我也想用crown molding做个框子。Lzmm能不能多讲讲怎么做的？
cut four pieces of crown molding at 45 degree angle and piece together. You can paint or stain the wood into color of your choice. Since the mosaic had a wood base board, we just nailed the molding onto the board.
