LZ刚刚差点被骗。电话打到我的手机，显示是Jacksvill FL, 说他是IRS, 说我filed tax in the past 7 year 有问题。因为没有回复他们给我寄来得notices,所以要给我issue warrant, and notice the local police office to arrest me. 其中问了我是不是有Foreign transaction from China, 我说有，他就说因为我报税时没有交税,所以violate federal law. 我说我是CPA 我知道foreign transfer 是不用交税的。他就说现在很多钱从中国进来美国，不用交税但是如果不报就是违法。然后说了一大堆consequences, 说我们谈话结束后，所有财产冻结，他会给local police 电话，然后30 分钟内会arrest me, and send me to prison for 3 days before first trail. 如果case lost，我会面临50-70k 罚款，并被遣送回国。我查点被吓哭，问有什么办法可以不用被arrest, 他还说他无能为力，然后说要conference IRS attorney and see what they can do. 又来了两个人，一直 interrogate me, 又重复了一遍consequences，主要是逼我求他们.最后我问, is there anything I can do to prevent the warrant to be issued？他说settlement would be $8K+ cash due today. 此刻我意识到可能是个骗局。于是google 了那个号码，发现有3个scam reports.

LZ自认是个防御意识挺强的人，这次差点上当的原因 1 Jacksvill FL is where IRS is located at 2. 全程进30分钟他们没提钱，而是用我不熟悉的美国司法程序和法律后果为要挟3. 我有foreign transactions. 这也是我来这里发贴提醒大家的原因，他们掌握了很多中国人都有境外汇款的情况，并利用了tax rule在 foreign transaction reporting上面比较confusing 的rule, 以此作为要挟。所以希望大家一定要小心。庆幸的是我没有给他们任何的personal information,也在最后时刻意识到了是个骗局。现已报警并report scam.
