I am being asked to consider a posision in Suzhou (local pay). Since I
have no idea about the city, etc., I am in desperate need of
information. Kindly share what you know and THANKS!!!
Suzhou, as a city, what do you think about the life there? Is it a
nice place to live? is there big software/telecommunication companies
nearby? (my husband needs to find a job too and telecom is his
expertise)
How is the housing market? We will need at least 4+ bedroom (having 3
kids) in a decent location. How expensive - both buy and rent - is it?
Most importantly, how are the schools there? Since we all have US
citizenship, I am not sure if my kids can go to public schools there,
which is what we prefer.
Sorry too many questions... If you know some contact information of
(good) local elementary schools or web sites where I can find more
information, I'd highly appreciate it! Look forward to your reply!
Thanks!

re, huge differences
1. suzhou is a nice place to live in,
3. 上学 is not a provlem at all. i know there are foreign lanague schools in suzhou.
4. 如果我有2个差不多的offer, one in shanghai and one in suzhou, i will choose suzhou.
