well, if you are a native speaker or extremely fluent in english, it is alright, you can pick suitable occasion and no problem at all... but otherwise... it sounds funny.... i personally met those persons... and trust me, it does not sound good...

P.S. you are absolutely right. How is it possible that i just conveniently missed the entire section of those blackie slangs and still be an american for more than ten years??? Guess USC undergrad is not so good as it sounds....
BTW, were you graduated from standford???? just curious....
